  • 100 gr rolled oats
  • 240 ml water
  • 240 ml any kind of milk
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric optional
  • A pinch of salt

To serve (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons fresh fruit
  • 2 teaspoons almond butter
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup or any kind of sweetener you prefer


  1. Place the oats in a saucepan, pour water and milk and add turmeric (if using) and the salt. Put it over medium heat until boiling and let it simmer around 15-20 minutes, stiring from time to time to avoid sticking to the pot.

  2. Add more milk if it gets too thick. It is important to get it extra creamy To serve, pour into bowls and top with fruit, nut butter and maple syrup.
