Gingery Salmon Patties

Regularly consuming fatty fish minimizes cardiovascular risks, regulates blood pressure (thanks to omega 3 fatty acids) and even reduces the risk of dementia or heart attacks. This is why is suggested to consume fatty fish at least twice a week.

For those of you who are a little lost and think that fatty fish is only tuna, salmon and sardines, you are lucky to discover today that mackerel, anchovy, herring, swordfish, bonito, mullet and even salted cod are also fatty fish thus sources of omega 3 fatty acids

A fun way to have salmon and which kids will love, is these mini Gingery Salmon Patties. They are super tasty and the ginger gives them that tiny spiciness that I love so much!

Serve this Gingery Salmon Patties in mini bun, as a part of a Buddha Bowl or for less heavy meal serve it with some green salad.

Gingery Salmon Patties


Course: Fish, Main Course
Servings: 2 uds
Ingredients
Patties
  • 125 gr wild salmon
  • 3/4 tablespoon fresh ginger grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives chopped
  • sal
  • black pepper freshly crashed
Salad
  • baby spinach
  • radish sliced
  • cucumber sliced
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
Instructions
  1. In a food processor put the salmon and process until it's minced. Place into a bowl.

  2. Add rest of the ingredients and mix to combine.

    Divide the dough into two patties.

  3. Heat a bit of olive oil into a pan and add the patties. Cook a couple of minutes until golden. Turn patties and cook a bit longer.

  4. Serve it with salad, as part of a Buddha Bowl or in mini buns.
