Slow Down & Breathe

Slow down & breathe

No matter if you are a Christmas lover, the following weeks are one of the craziest of all the year. While some people is pleased with the festive atmosphere, don’t get so well with the crowdy streets or the late shopping, while for others it’s an upsetting season from the beginning.

December is the most exciting and stressful month, so many obligations, parties, commitments and not so healthy food. But it doesn’t have to be that way. We can prepare ourselves for the coming weeks and experience a serenity, calm and even joyful holiday.

Here are few tips that will help keep you survive this Christmas with total success.

BOOST YOUR IMMUNITY

Poor nourish food, alcoholic drinks, poor sleep… To support that frenetic social life you need to have a very strong immune system. Prepare your body:

CHILL OUT

Start your day with a breathe exercise. Try to practice some yoga stretches and relaxation and if you fell overwhelmed in the middle of the day, pause, close your eyes, deep breath and count to 10, this will relieve your tension and mind.

EXERCISE

Even just walk or ride your bike to work. It will stimulate your heart and will create an opportunity to breath without the stress from driving a car.

IT’S OK TO SAY ‘NO’

It can be hard, but if you want to slow down this holiday, you will have to, gently and graciously, turn down invitations. Book few nights off for yourself and enjoy a little ‘solo’ time.

HAVE FUN

Let go of the outcome and focus on what is truly important. Be present there where your are and enjoy your time!
