Top Recipes of 2017

Happy New Year! I hope you’re all having a lovely holiday weekend!

Last past year was a very exciting one for me. 2017 was the year I decided to star my own career as a Health Coach. I created this website as support to my practise and with the aim of being an inspiration for my tribe to have a healthier and happier life.

It hasn’t been easy, but I am so thankful to be able to do what I like and what I’m passionate about. But I am more grateful for all the support I’ve received from you guys and my closest ones. Without you, my dream wouldn’t be possible.

I have some exciting things planned for 2017 but before we move on, I wanted to share Healthy Forkful top recipes of the past year. These recipes top our site analytics and are among the most liked and shared recipes on Instagram. If you’re new in the trybe, (welcome!), this group of recipes is a great plate to start! And remember, always let me know if there’s anything you would specially like to see in 2018!

Banana Bread

Healthier Banana Bread, gluten free version

A classic one that never fails, and if it’s healthier and nutritious even better. This gluten free version was the most seen recipe (by far) of the year.

Cauliflower Couscous Green Salad

Even though cauliflower couscous is definitely not couscous, this was the star salad this summer. So light and refreshing, easy to turn into a proper meal. It’s perfect to turn those cauliflower haters into new lovers.

Sunny Bowl

This recipe was more an excuse to write a post to help people to stay healthy during holidays. There is a list of ingredients and a method to follow but it would be seen as easy steps to build up a delicious Buddha Bowl.

Chocolate Beetroot Cake

Of course, a chocolate cake had to be in the top recipes. This chocolate cake is perfect as a breakfast bite but also as a celebration cake dressing it with a delicious skyr topping or a chocolate ganache. It’s gluten free and thanks to the sweetness of beetroots is nearly sugar free.

Healthier Carrot Cake

Seems this year has been quite sweet. Another classic cake in the top 5, this healthier version of the carrot cake was made for an special ocassion. Super moist layers of carrot sponge filled with a delicious and creamy homemade labneh! frosting.
