Grilled Pineapple

This Grilled Pineapple with Lime Yogurt is a way to upgrade your breakfast or dessert this summer.

Pineapple is great and delicious on its own, but if you feel like making a fancy breakfast, try grilling it. Pair it with lime yogurt or coconut ice cream and you will bring exotic vibes to your table.

Pineapple is anti-inflammatory and a good source of digestive enzymes, vitamin C and B group, which are vital for energy metabolism and nerves function.

Grilling will make the sugars in your pineapple to come out and will caramelize it giving it a really amazing flavour. Now that bbq season is here, give it a try and become the king of the healthy grill!

Ingredients
  • 4 slices pineapple
  • 150 ml lime yogurt or
  • coconut ice cream
  • fresh mint to garnish
Instructions
  1. Heat a grill pan over a high heat. When the pan is hot, add pineapple slices and grilled them around 3 minutes each side.

  2. Serve them with lime yogurt or coconut ice cream. Garnish with mint and enjoy exotic flavours on your table!
