In love with this delicious banana, chocolate and almond smoothie. It’s so damn good, easy and perfect for those moments when I am craving something sweet.
I have never been a big fun of making juices or smoothies at home. I guess because the cleaning process of the blender is a bit annoying for me. I take longer to wash the blender than to get the smoothie ready. Although I have to recognize that when I prepare a smoothie, I always swear I will make them more often. Because let me be honest, it is quick, incredible yum and perfect for a midday snack.
The combination of chocolate, banana and almond is a real winner. So smooth, creamy, chocolatey and sooo healthy too.
I have already told you before about the bad reputation of bananas. But I must insist, they have powerful benefits and contain essential nutrients for our body. It is even great to relieve the itchiness of a mosquito bite. Yes, it is truth, it is an amazing trick I learnt in my time in Cambodia. You just need to rub the inside of a banana peel and you will get relieve immediately.
What I normally do is, buying tons of bananas and when they are over ripen, I peel them, slice them and wrap them individually. And then I freeze them, this way I always have bananas ready for smoothies, breads, pancakes…
Stories apart, you already know that chocolate and banana is a classic combination that goes perfectly well together. Today I have decided to add some almonds to make it super rich and filling, and it will take you just 3 minutes to make.
